Some of the Novels I have Read-Part 1

Hi Friends ,

           In this post series i am going to write about the books i have read in my life ,mostly the books i have read in this year.I am not going to review any book,but just what i feel about the book and small introduction.. i am very beginner in writing about books...so please forgive my mistakes..

          Recently i read the The Clifton Chronicles (Volume 1&2) by Jeffery Archer. 

     I really liked this book series.This is one of genre i have never read earlier and that is the reason i like this book series,other reason may be because of the style of writing or story plot or theme of the book. I have heard about this author from my friend Karthick S but this is the first time i am reading his book.This is the only British author i am reading after J.K.Rowling.The story moves around the main protagonist Harry Clifton and the stories of people around him.This is story of the life of harry clifton from 1919 to 2019.

So lets see about the first Part of the Chronicles

Only Time will Tell

      This is the first part of the Clifton Chronicles.This Story moves from the year 1919 to 1940.It starts from the child hood of Harry Clifton to young man.The Plot moves around the place called Bristol in England.

             The Story starts at the age of 5.years of Harry Clifton.In the book,the main character Harry Clifton life is shown. Harry is brought by his mother Maisie Clifton and is told that his father is killed in Great war ( World War 1 ),stays in the House of his Uncle Stan ( Maisie's Brother ).Maisie's Parents lives with them.

              Harry Clifton , a small boy shows interest to work in the shipping line where his father and his uncle worked,so he is not interested to go to school .Due to the influences of people around him like Mr.Holcombe,Miss Monday and Captain Tarrant ( as Old Jack Tar ),he goes to school and believes in himself as a better person than going to docks.His Mother supports him by taking the job of waitress in a hotel.

            The Next part of the story mostly tells about the sufferings of Maisie Clifton,Harry's Parentage,and his life with his friend Giles Barrington ,whom he met at school..

       I will tell about the second part of chronicles in the next post.

My Experinces with Samsung Champ Deluxe Duos - Part III

Hi Friends ,
 
        i will continue with the last post..i was saying about the Applications and other features :

Facebook : It is one of the application now found in all the mobile phones.but it is rather slow and instead we can download  from Facebook website itself or mobile website can be used.

Twitter : The same thing is for twitter also..the main problem in twitter is that we cannot use the link to open the respective website.but we can read Tamil font which is a advantage for me.

Bluetooth : They say its version is 3.0..But i don't find any difference between the earlier version.The difficulty i face is i cant connect it to my laptop.. don't know why..

Internet : The internet is quite good..But if a message comes..then the connection will cut and we have to wait for sometime to connect again.If an App uses internet while a message is received ,then  you must quit that app and re-start again.

Opera-mini : There is a in-built opera mini 6.0 which is good application and the main advantage is that it will adjust the webpage to the mobile size ,as all its customers know, unlike Internet (WAP).

Memo/Task : I think both are same..but the difference is memo just like a note but task we can keep alaram..in my opinion we can keep 2 apps as a single app..

F.M Radio : It is will play the various radio channels..like other mobiles it also needs headset.

Dictionary : It is one of the most useful app in the mobile..There are 2 main advantages , One is that they give multiple meanings for all words ,other is the give sample sentences for all meanings , which is a great advantage the other mobile dictionaries lack.

Games : The least loved feature of the mobile are the games..i don't love it because all a trial games and Rs.50 has to be paid to get completed version. I dislike this idea..even Nokia mobiles however cheap they may be they give full version games for free.and i have not found good website for downloading nice mobile games for this mobile also..

Other Things are

Battery : If charged full , we can use up to 2 to 2.5 days..

The main problem i come with this mobile is that we cannot minimize any application..There is also no video player but it will play video..I have missed many features of this mobile..to see that view other websites.
The past three posts of the Samsung champ mobile are my personal opinions only,other than that..it is nothing..

With this post , I complete my Samsung Champ Deluxe Duos..Next time i will come with an interesting topic..

My Experiences with Samsung Champ Deluxe Duos -Part 2

Hi Friends,

          After writing the first part of this post.I never had mood to write the second one...In this post i will continue writing about it.

        So i finally bought SAMSUNG CHAMP DELUXE DUOS GT-C3312 on 2nd August 2012..So i have had great time experiencing with my mobile.I can't say new mobile.Because it is already 1 and 1/2 months old..

    I am going to say about every feature i have experienced in this mobile..

Physical feature : The mobile is very handy and weight is also less.I personally like compact mobile..not a very large display mobile..like Samsung Galaxy S2.

Touch Screen : The Touch is some what average only..it is not like "Android-Touch"..But OK...

Voice Call : The Voice call is better clarity in voice than any other mobile i have experienced..

Text Message : Typing Text message was difficult when switching from traditional type (Key Pad) to touch..But now it is better..

Camera : Camera with 1.3Mpx has good clarity for that configuration..but what can you expect  from 1.3 Mpx..but as i said..clarity is good for that configuration.

Widget Pages : We can have Widget pages up to  7 pages.but you cant have same type of widgets twice..There is a shortcut widget where you can keep upto 9 shortcuts..which is use ful..the regularly using icons can be kept out..It can be used at the stand by mode..

Main Menu : It has 4 pages totally and we can access all options in it.

Dual Sim : It is Dual Stand by..When one sim has received call...the other call to other sim will say not reachable ...

Message/Call Log : we can have have upto 20 logs.

Contacts : we can have upto 2000 contacts in mobile.We can store many details like email id,mobile numbers etc.,

Calender : It is regular calender..but when we select a date..we can create appointment,event etc.,

Music : The music is great..with stereo head set ..it is much greater...

Memory : Internal memory is only about 30 mb ..so much applications cannot be installed..but we can have external memory upto 16 Gb..but apps cannot be installed in external memory..apps more than 1 mb cannot be downloaded..


I will tell about other applications in another sequel..

My Experiences with Samsung Champ Deluxe Duos - Part 1

Hi Friends ,

          Meeting you after a long time.Now only i got the mood to write a post.I recently bought Samsung Champ Deluxe GT-C3312.I am going to publish my buying story and using experience in the post

         Initially, I had the thought of buying in online markets like Flip kart or Home Shop 18 as they give lots of discounts and offers,but as i have not bought a electronic gadget before in those website (I have bought few books),i hesitated to buy in those websites.Later i came to know that it was no problem in buying online.

       There was another problem in buying , that is the decision to buy which mobile. My Friend Karthick said to buy Nokia mobile for that budget (Rs.3500).But as i was using Nokia all my life (I mean 4 years of my mobile life) so i wanted to buy other than Nokia. Obviously,only Samsung was good after Nokia , as my other choice Sony Ericsson produced mobile phones greater than 10K (which was far away from my budget of Rs.3500) with Android OS and wasn't interested in other mobile manufacturers.

         After deciding Samsung, I had only one choice ie., to buy Samsung    GT-C3322 as it was only Rs.3200 in market price.It has a good display of 2.2 inches,Dual sim phone,2 mpx camera and video player etc.,.The main reason to buy that mobile was 2.2 inches display and Dual sim.

        Then after getting enough money..I started to a famous showroom in Madurai with my uncle to buy mobiles (Many of my friends were busy so they couldn't come).I went in the show room. The sales man there said that my choice ( Samsung GT-C3322 ) was a good model  but my uncle insisted me to buy a touch. we asked about my nearest price of touch mobile.Sales man said Samsung GT-C3312 only Rs.3900.It had almost all of the features of GT-C3322 mobile except touch and 2.8 inch screen. i sold my old mobile at Rs.300 and with my money i bought

Power in our hands !!

Hi Friends,

    The Internet has influenced our-self , that is people , in many ways.We use it to mail,blog and spend our time in social networks like Facebook,Twitter etc., Now-a-Days one is using the internet from his\her childhood to his\her adulthood,because there is an answer for everything with the help of Google and other search engines like Bing etc.,and there is a online encyclopedia called Wikipedia.

    Today Internet is a part of everyone's life.Whether it is a school project or a job-seeking or friend-seeking, e-mailing or answer-seeking every thing. Even a revolution can be started with an help of social network which is of course runs in internet.we can see videos in "How stuff Works and YouTube" to know about things we want to know like how gears works in a wrist watch etc.,.We all know that knowledge is power and now with Internet , we can say Internet is Power because it holds much knowledge.

    Such Vital purposed and Multi-purposed and powerful Internet can be made in pockets which is due to the fact that mobile operators such as "Vodafone" has given internet in mobiles.It is good even if its a just GPRS enabled phone.

    I used to play lot games in mobile.So the Internet helps in downloading games also and we can connect with our friends via social networks.Even i can watch videos in mobile which has good buffering which we sometimes don't have in our broad band.It is comfortable to use net in mobile because we can do it in any posture such as sitting or laying down.The mobile operators give good internet that we can surf very fast. The mobile is the only gadget which everyone can afford to so the internet is now reaching every one who cant afford broad band.

    The Advantage is the mobile which is now having the latest configurations so it would also lead to faster internet.The mobiles has also lots of facility that encourage internet.The Mobile phone price has been reduced that also makes internet fun.The Android OS is yet another feature which makes the internet fun than ever before.

  Therefore i conclude that The Internet is FUN in computer and THE INTERNET IS MORE FUN IN THE MOBILE..

Finishing 1st Year of Blogging !!

Hi Friends ,

Good Day..
It is pleasant to say that my blog has been a year since it initiated on 12-March-2011.. from starting day till now i have written about 15 posts ( including this one ) and got some comments and my blog visitors are more than 2500 visitors.It feels to be great to achieved this much.I have written in both Tamil and English.

 I Thank all of my Friends and Visitors who visited my blog and shared their views about the blog to me and some who have made their comments without which i may not able to achieve this much in blogging.

 My Main Inspiration to write Blog is due to my friend Karthick S who writes blog titled "Reflections from my Life" in the website karthicksdays.blogspot.in .The Fire of writing a blog in me was because by him only. He asked me to write a guest post for his blog. So i prepared a for him the guest post on the Title " My Favorite Sports Car " Website is http://karthicksdays.blogspot.in/2011/03/my-favorite-sport-car.html in which i wrote about my favorite sports car on Lamborghini Murciélago on 9th March 2011 which he published on his Blog on 12th March 2011 by which i thought it would be nice starting blog on my own and thus the spirit for My Life Race has begun.

 Although i am unable to write frequently, i always think about how to improve my blog,how to increase the visitors hits,how to improve my language in both Tamil and English,how to overcome grammar and spelling mistakes and how to improve the appearances of my blog etc.,I will try to write frequently in next coming days.

I also thank social networks Facebook , Google Buzz ( Now not available ) , Google Plus and http://www.indiblogger.in/ which is indian blog directory which helps me by allowing many people in the blog directory to view my blog.

என்னை கவர்ந்தவை..- இரண்டாம் பகுதி

என் இனிய நண்பர்களே ,

நலமா ? இன்று என்னை கவர்ந்த மற்றவை பற்றி கூற போகிறேன். நான் கடந்த இரண்டு மாதங்களாக படித்த புத்தகங்கள் பற்றி கூற போகிறேன்.நான் முதல் முதலில் கதைகளை பற்றி எழுதுவதால் ஏதும் பிழை இருப்பினும் மன்னிக்குமாறு கேட்டு கொள்கிறேன்.

கன்னி மாடம் :

கன்னிமாடம் என்பது ஓர் நாட்டின் இளவரசியை  ஒரு கோட்டையில் வைத்து அதற்கு பாதுகாவலாக ஒரு படையும் கொடுப்பார்கள்.அந்த படை அந்த இளவரசிக்கு தான் பனி வணங்கும். நாட்டை ஆளும் அரசனுக்கு கூட அடிபணியாது.
     
இதன் கதை பின்வருமாறு ஒரு காலத்தில் (16 நூற்றாண்டு என்று நினைக்குறேன் , படித்தது மறந்து விட்டது ) பாண்டிய நாடும் இரண்டாக பிரிந்து கடந்தது . வடக்கே குலசேகர பாண்டியனும் தெற்கே வீர பாண்டியனும் ஆண்டனர். அவர்களுக்குள் பகை இருந்தது. இருவருக்கும் போர் வர , இதை சாக்காக வைத்து இலங்கை அரசன் , வீரபாண்டியனுக்கு உதவுவது போல் நடித்து தமிழ்நாடை தன் எல்லைக்குள் கொண்டு வர பார்க்கிறான்.இதை உணர்ந்து கொண்ட சோழ நாடு எப்படி சிங்கள நாட்டவரை தமிழகத்தை விட்டு விரட்டுகிறது என்பது தான் கன்னி மாடத்தின் கதை கரு.
   
இதில் வரும் அபராஜித பல்லவன் (கதையின் நாயகன் ) திறமையை  காணும் பொழுது எனக்கு இந்த நாவலை எழுதிய சாண்டில்யனின் இன்னொரு நாவலான இராஜ முத்திரையில் வரும் வீர பாண்டியனின் (வேற வீர பாண்டியன் )திறமை தான் நியாபகம் வரும் ஏனெனில் இருவருடைய குணாதிசயம் ஒன்று போல் இருக்கும் . கன்னி மாடத்திற்கும் இந்த கதைக்கும் என்ன உறவு என்பதை நீங்கள் படித்துதான் உணரவேண்டும் . இந்த கதையை எழுதியது சாண்டில்யன் அவர்கள்.   

இராஜ முத்திரை : 

கன்னி மாடத்தில் இராஜ முத்திரை பற்றி கூறி இருப்பதால் அதன் கதையை பற்றி கூற போகிறேன். இராஜ முத்திரையை எழுதியதும் சாண்டில்யன் தான். இராஜ முத்திரை படித்து இரண்டு வருடங்கள் இருப்பதால் என் நினைவில் உள்ளதை கூற போகிறேன் .பிழை இருப்பினும் மன்னிக்க வேண்டும்.

சிற்றரசனாக இருக்கும் பாண்டிய மன்னனும் அவன் தம்பி வீர பாண்டியனும் ( இளவரசன் ) தங்கள் நாட்டை பெரிய சாம்ராஜ்யமாக ஆக்க ஆசை படுகிறார்கள் .அதற்காக அவர்கள் படை மற்றும் செல்வம் சேர்க்கையில் அதை களவாடுகிறான் சேரன். ஆனாலும் ஒரு சிறு படையை வைத்து சேர நாட்டை கைபற்றுவது தான் இராஜ முத்திரை கதை.பாண்டியனுக்கு உதவுவதற்கு தங்கள் இளவரசனை அனுப்புகிறது இலங்கை அரசு .இதில் வீரபாண்டியனின் வீரதீர போர்முறையை படிக்கும் பொழுது நமக்கு புல்லரிக்கும்.
