என் முதல் எழுத்து !!!

என் இனிய நண்பர்களே ,

நான் வலை எழுதி பல நாட்கள் ஆகி விட்டது.இந்த வலைப்பதிவை  ஐ தமிழில் எழுதலாம் என்று எண்ணி உள்ளேன்.  இந்த பதிவில்  யில் நான் எப்படி எழுத்தில் ஆர்வம் பெற்றேன் என்று கூற போகிறேன்.

முதல் முதலில் நான் படிக்கச் ஆரம்பித்தது இரண்டாம் வகுப்பில் என்று நினைக்குறேன். நான் என் அப்பாவின் கடைக்கு செல்லும் பொது அவர் சில சமயம் தினமலரின் முக்கிய தலைப்பை வாசிக்க சொல்லவர்.அதுதான் என் முதல் வாசிப்பு என்று நினைக்குறேன்.(கல்வியை தவிர).பின்பு தினமலர் நாளிதழ் இலவச இணைப்பாக வரும் சிறுவர் மலரில் உள்ள படக் கதைகளை படிக்க ஆரம்பித்தேன்.கொஞ்சம் கொஞ்சமாக மற்ற கதைகளை  படிக்க ஆரம்பித்தேன்.

இச்சமயத்தில் நான் மற்றொரு பழக்கத்தை சொல்லி ஆகா வேண்டும்.எங்கள் வீட்டில் வெள்ளி கிழமை தோறும் நடக்கும் நிகழ்ச்சி இது. யாரு முதலில் சிறுவர்   மலரை படிப்பது என்று தான்.பேப்பர் காக நான் வெயிட் பண்ணுவேன்.வந்த உடன் நான் சிறுவர் மலரை வீட்டில் ஒளித்து வைத்து விடுவேன். பள்ளிக்கு சென்று வந்த பிறகு உடனேயே மலரை படிக்க  வேண்டும் என்ற ஆர்வத்தில். இந்த விசயத்தில் எனக்கும் என் பெரியம்மாவுக்கும் செல்ல சண்டை நடக்கும்.(அப்பொழுது ஒரே வீட்டில் ஒரே மாடியில் இருந்தோம்).யார் முதலில் மலரை படிப்போம் என்று.இப்பொழுது நினைத்தால் சிரிப்பாக தான் வருகிறது.வெள்ளி கிழமை மலரை படிக்க விட்டால் எனக்கு தூக்கம் வராது. பின்பு தினமலரை வாங்குவதை விட்டுவிட்டோம் அதற்கு வேறு காரணம் உண்டு . 

பின்பு ஆங்கில சிறு கதைகளையும் படிக்க ஆரம்பித்தேன்.நான்  சிறுவயதில் இருக்கும் பொழுது படிக்க சொன்னால் நடத்தியதை படிக்காமல் நடத்தாததை பாடத்தை படிப்பேன்.எங்கேயாவது  எதாவது எழுதிருந்தால் உடனையே அதை படிக்கும் ஆர்வம் ஏற்பட்டது.நான் அசோகா கதைகளை பஞ்சதந்திர கதைகளை அப்பொழுதே முடித்து விட்டேன்.வீட்டிலயே நான் தான் வேகமாக படிப்பேன்.

நான் அடுத்த கட்டம் ( அதாவது நாவல் ) படிக்க ஆரம்பித்தது பத்தாம் வகுப்பில் தான். நான் அப்பொழுது அமரர் கல்கியின் பொன்னியின் செல்வன் என்ற புத்தகத்தை படித்தேன்.அற்புதமான கதை.  என்ன கற்பனை. அந்த நாவல்  எனக்கு ஒரு புது பாதையை காட்டியது. பத்து நாளில் அந்த கதையை படித்தேன். அது 2000 பக்கங்கள் கொண்டது.தமிழ் ஆர்வம்   உள்ளவர்கள் கண்டிப்பாக படிக்க வேண்டிய புத்தகம்.

  

அடுத்த புத்தகம்  தேவி பாகவதம். அது  கடவுளை பற்றியது.எனக்கு  புராண கதைகள் என்றால் பிடிக்கும், அதனால் தான்   அதை படித்தேன். அது  செந்தமிழில் எழுதியது.அப்  அப்பா.. ஒரு  வார்த்தை இப்பொழுது உள்ள 2 வரிகளுக்கு சமமானது.அதாவது  ஒரு வார்த்தையில் 50 60 எழுத்தக்கள் இருக்கும் என்றால் பார்த்துக்கொள்ளுங்கள்.நான்   படித்த ஒரே செந்தமிழ் புத்தகம் என்றால் அது தேவி பாகவதம் தான். அதன் எழுத்தாளர் யார்  என்று தெரியவில்லை.11th பரிச்சை வந்ததால் அதை  முழுதாக படிக்க முடியல.

பின்பு  சாண்டில்யன் எழுதிய ராஜ முத்திரை ,கடல் புறா ஆகியவற்றை படித்தேன்.இரண்டுமே சரித்திர நாவல்கள்.

கல்லுரியில்...

நான் கல்லூரிக்கு சென்ற  பிறகு தமிழ் நாவல்களை சற்று நிறுத்தி விட்டு ஆங்கில நாவல்களை படிக்க ஆரம்பித்தேன்.அதற்கு ஊக்கமும் புத்தகமும் குடுத்தது என் இனிய நண்பர் கார்த்திக்.சு.முதலில் அவர் கொடுத்தது டேன் பிரவுன் எழுதிய டா வின்சி கோடு (Dan Brown's Da Vinci Code).அவ்வப் பொழுது ஆங்கில  நாவல்களை அவரிடம் வாங்கி படித்தேன்.

அவரின் மூலம் எனக்கு பிடித்த எழுத்தாளர் சிட்னி ஷெல்டன் (Sidney Sheldon )

ஆங்கில விரும்பிகள் அவர் நாவலை படிக்க ஆரம்பிக்கலாம்.

ஹர்ரி போட்டர்( harry potter ) என்ற நாவலை படிக்க வேண்டும் என்ற ஆசை எனக்கு வெகுநாட்களாக இருந்தது.அது  இ புக்(E book )  ஆக தான் கிடைத்தது. இ புக் என்றால் கணினியில் தான் படிக்க முடியும். நான்  7 பாகங்களையும் கணினியில் தான் படித்தேன்.அத்தனை படிக்கும் ஆர்வம்.

இப்பொழுது கல்கியின் பொன்னியின் செல்வனை மீண்டும் இ புக்ல தான்

படிக்குறேன்.

என்னடா இவன் முதல் எழுத்துங்க்ரன், படிச்சதலாம் எழுதுறான்னு  நீங்க நினைக்கலாம். ஆனா படிச்சா தானே எழுத முடியும். அதுக்கு தான் இதலாம் சொல்றேன்.இந்த வலைபதிவு   தான் என்னோட முதல் அதிகாரபூர்வமான எழுத்து.இதற்கு காரணம் கார்த்திக்.சு.தான்.

My First Paper Presentation

Hi Friends,

This time i am going to write about the experiences of my first paper presentation , that i went unexpectedly on friday (19/08/2011) . On the middle of the week ,about wednesday i think, i heard that my friend Saravana Kumar's paper was selected for a paper presentation conducted in pondicherry college.As i didn't attend any paper presentations before , i was thinking when i would go to such paper presentations. Next day Saravana said that he got selected for another college on same day for me and Karthik. i dont want to miss that oppurtunity, so i started doing works to get On-Duty for me and Karthik.E (another nice friend )to go to another college we got selected (because we were same team ).

Day Before Paper Presentations :

The College was a famous college in Tiruchengodu, Tamil Nadu. It would take only 4 to 5 hours travel so we thought we could start by midnight and reach by early morning 4:30 am.I and Karthik could not communicate frequently because his mobile was not in good condition.This time i thought about our grand father's who had no phone at all and how we were in kind of situation where we can't be without mobile.

I started about 11pm on 18/08/2011 to Aarappalayam bus stand ( A bus stand in madurai ). In few minutes we met.Karthik made an arrangement for alternative mobile so we can communicate each other.We boarded Salem bus on the advice of our class mate Sathish Kumar (whom we call M.L.A ) because his hometown was namakkal.While we were seated in a bus Karthik suddenly claimed that he has missed his bus. I don't know what to do. He got tensed and moved around the bus bending below seats and was searching for bus in bus stand also.He asked if i was having money for both of us to go. I said it will be enough for going alone as i didn't have much money.It made us tensed for about 1 minute then when we used mobile light for searching we found the pursue that was on right front seat where a women was sitting . "Thank God" i and Karthik said. He then went to drink Tea.     

Sleepless Night :

Then when karthik returned, the bus started by 11:30 i think.The Bus conductor came and asked for ticket we said we want 2 namakkal tickets.He said that it was a express bus and stops only at salem. We dont know the distance between salem and namakkal and thought we are not going to make it.The bus already ran 2 to 3 kms so the bus would not also stop. so with no choice we got tickets to salem.When i was about to sleep. They put with some Bakiya Raj (A Yesteryear tamil actor ) film. Ayyo !! Koduma da ( It was killing me seeing the movie ). I was seated in a seat above tyre so i cant freely keep my leg to full length.i was also near to window so no way i can't sit comfortably. I could not sleep also as the bhakiya raj film was killing me.i got fed up.I watched the movie with no choice. I don't know the title as it saw from middle. I had a half slept after the movie was over and they turned off the television. I could not sleep because of film and uncomfortability. At 4 am friday we reached Salem and learnt that we could reach that college by 2 hours. We boarded the tiruchengodu bus . Unfortunately this bus was more uncomfortable than the previous bus as we have to stand and the bus was crowded. Karthik managed to sleep while standing.But i can't sleep while standing. This went continously till we reached college gate. luckily the bus stopped at college gate itself. We reached there by 6 am.I was amazed by the campus because it was an educational village ,i would call . The same trust has Schools,Arts college, 3 enginering colleges, 2 management colleges and 1 Medical college (I Don't know exact numbers as we went the hostel alloted to us directly ) on the same campus and many buildings was in middle of constructions and don't know what are they for. I thought it was good college.

One day Hostel :

In this i have to appreciate the college hospitality. the students atteded call whenever needed and helped a lot.I was a Day scholar ( Non Hosteler ) all my life it was a first day and last day (up to date ) i had been in hostel. The room was quite like a typical hostel room and other participators where already there sleeping.

I smelled hostel for first time. The rest room ( toilet and bathroom ) was some what cleaner than i expected because i heard from many hosteller of my college and other colleges that generally rest rooms would not be clean.  Then we bathed and got ready and went to canteen for breakfast about 8.45am.Ate some tiffins and went to inaugral function.

Inaugral (Advisory)  Function:

We went to register our names and then we went to Presentation Hall.The time was 10am and till didn't start the function. Then all the dignitories ( sorry if there's any spell mistake ) came. About 7 of them were there. Principal , Director mech,HOD mech, professors and 2 chief guests. All saying the same thing in different ways and style. About 2 hours they were lecturing. As i didn't sleep last night i slept sitting in 2nd bench (karthik too).Then after that i thought there would be lunch as i was hungry but they said it was break. They  put  on some videos to illustrate power of mechanical engineers (We are Mechanical Engineering Students and it was Mechanical Engineering Symposium) . It had nice content but some flaws in editing.

Last Presentation:

In break they gave two marie gold biscuits and 1 cup of tea. It was OK.Then we went to presentation hall. We was Disappointed as we were the last team for paper presentation , as i would make us not to explain the paper completely and they would make us hurry to go finish.But karthk was positive and said that we could win prize in any circumstances.So i was also hoping we would win.It was a bad thing they gave mearly 3minutes for explanation.

Lunch????

Next after 10 presentations were over we were called for lunch. The Lunch was not as good i thought. The had provided the same mess food they would eat but in banana leaf with extra Banana.It was the worst lunch i have had in my life.

Last Presentation Continued....

After lunch we were then called.It was about 3.40pm It was as expected as i predicted earlier. They simply did not listen to our presentation and quickly said time was out we didnt get even 3 minutes.I was upset by that.Then i know that we would not bag any prize.

Design Contest.

We also registered for Design contest so we went for the same . First we thought i was a easy diagram give to us but unfortunately we didnt arrive at the result. We felt bad as we were learning design softwares for two months and we could not arrive conclusion. we later came to know that it was a different version that we learnt and in symposium it was different version software.Then we could not win design contest also. 

Valedictory Function (At last its all over )

Aappa da.... Finally we were going to home da . No advice this time. we got all participitation certificates and no participitation for design also. HOD asked to give feed back i thought of saying you must be puntual and time consious, dont put mess lunch for guests,give a nice video show but i didnt say anything as i was eager to get away from that college.

To Madurai :

We vacated the hostel and started to move towards gate. on the way we eat icecreams on another canteen and then we boarded namakkal bus and reached namakkal by 6.30pm. we then ate dinner as i would be midnight to go home.Then Started to madrai.We were lucky this time as we got nice seat in middle and i could not watch the movie going on . It was a nice tamil movie acted by Kamal Hasan namely Vasool Raja M.B.B.S i love that movie but as i could not see properly i slept. We reached madurai Arappalayam Bus stant madurai by 11.40pm. I got bus to my home so i bid bye to Karthik and boarded bus to Thallakulam (where i live ). I reached by 12.00 am and it was nice to see madurai by midnight as i never seen it before. Later i heared that Karthik got home by 3.00am as bus was not available at that time.

WOW !! Is it a TV ??

It has been a long time writing blog.i like to write this blog in english.i dont know why because sometime i like to write in english and some times in tamil.

ok friends ! i will come to the topic. You may all be thinking what i am going to write ? ok i ll stop running around your head and i ll come to point.

i am going to write about a SAMSUNG LED TV SERIES-5 5000  recently brought by my Uncle (Father's elder brother ) from singapore . you may be thinking why he is writing about TV brought by his uncle. i am proud to say that i am in a join family so we share things always.


so lets come about the TV. It is the most amazing TV i have ever seen. i usually dont like watching in Tv and i watch films in my desktop computer.but i that TV i really like to watch movies.It supports 1080p and HDMX also.

The First thing amazed by the TV was the 40 inch. imagine first seeing 20 inch TV in one day and other day we see 40 inch.you may feel the excitement.It would be exciting for a normal middle class person.

the next physical feauture is,it is only 6 cm thick (dont know exactly ).

The next feature attracted was the USB connection that allows us to connect pendrive that can be used to view movies in soft copy

The next feature is HDMI which is used to connect TV and PC. I tried to connect TV and PC with HDMI but it was successful when windows was loading but when desktop was about to come it suddenly failed to show. don't know why i think i have to refer the manual.

The Next feature is it can be used as a monitor for the computer which is also fascinating. 

 It can also trap FM radio. but we didn't use it. we dont know about its other features because we bought it about a week ago.so we have to search about its features.

The only small disadvantage is that the TV can give only less volume(sound) compared to CRT Tv's (  The old Giant TV ) so we have to put additional Speakers. we attached a 5.1 surround system which rectifies this TV defect.

A DVD player of samsung company was given free to theTV.

My Uncle was in much problem to bring TV from singapore to tamil nadu.The price of TV is about Rs.45,000 including a amount for customs to bring into india. 

within a week we watched a few movies like Pirates of carribean trilogy ( 3 parts) and Kanchana ( muni part 2 ) a tamil movie.i planned to watch Avatar and Lord of the Rings Trilogy and few animation  movies like toy story etc.,
